Building Construction Machinery by John

Construction projects cover three essential construction jobs:
1. Building Construction
2. Industrial Construction
3. Heavy/Civil Construction.

Building constitutes not only the residential houses but also big corporate offices, commercial centers, multistory buildings etc. For the construction of buildings both heavy and light machineries are used.

Building construction machines are used in a wide variety of construction of building projects. They include machineries like bulldozers , cranes, backhoes, loaders etc, including small machines and tools like air hammers, air compressors, jack hammers, elevators, generators, chippers etc. The machineries thus used for the construction of buildings are classified into two main categories:

Bulldozer with Blade and Ripper Mechanical Operations by John

Mechanical Operations

Bulldozer with rippers and blades are very helpful in building big dams in different areas. It prepares the ground by clearing and leveling it. The main parts of the bulldozer are tractor, blade and rippers. Tractor is controlled by control joystick, monitor panel, and pedals. Through blade it shaves the uneven ground and carries the shaven soil along with it. While shaving, it levels and tighten the ground with its on the basis of the nature of the work the dozer blade is categorized as straight blade, universal blade, combination of straight and universal blade. Rippers on the other hand scratch the ground. Ripper can shave big rocks and hard grounds also which the blade is unable to do.

Bulldozer with Blade and Ripper

Bulldozer with Blade and Ripper

Bulldozer is a heavy machine having a track and is fitted with a dozer blade. The tracks provides them with excellent ground hold and mobility through very rough terrain. Bulldozer is easy to operate machine for clearing and grading land. Bulldozer, due to its size and power has undergone many modifications since its invention and is used mainly for accomplishing big infrastructural projects like dams, canals, roads, buildings, etc.

Crusher Loader Dumper by JOHN

It is a small diesel vehicle that is used to carry loads and materials to the construction sites.

Crusher loader dumper is either Wheel Mounted or Track Mounted.

Its working is very simple:
Materials can be emptied by raising the front end of the platform pneumatically so that the load is discharged by gravity.

If steel dumpers are used than heavy duty containers can be handled easily.

SheepFoot Roller by John

It is one of the most most commonly used soil compactor used by builders and contractors.
This type of roller is available in variety of size depending on nature of the soils.
It orks very well on cohesive soils. The sheepfoot compacts from the bottom of each lift to the top.
It is self propelled heavy machinery which run static and typically mowed.
At low moistyre contents the resulting compaction of such soils by sheepfoot roller is probably better than other types of machinery.

Concrete Mixer (DAM Construction) by John

The concrete mixer was invented by Gebhardt Jaeger

Concrete mixer as a machine that homogeneously combines cement, sand or gravel & water to form concrete.
A typical concrete mixer uses a revolving drum to mix the components

this is usually done in a wheelbarrow, several companies have recently begun to sell modified traps for this purpose.

Generally concretye mixer consists of a revolving drum to mix the components Some concrete mixers are also suppiled with hoopers which helps in mixin gwork.
This Hooper supplies the granular into a mixer whee they are mixed in a definite proportion.

There are others components of the concrete mixers are electric motors or diesel engine, hydraulic loaders and steel chassis.

Upcoming post is for Sheepsfoot Roller

D7E

The d7e has no engine belts because most systems are powered by electricity form the drive system. The belt less design reduces parasitic power drag on the engine and downtime for belt repairs and replacements.

Electric current is routed through the specially armored cables to a solid state power inverter. There advance electronics send AC current to the propulsion module to control the motors and provide DC current for the accessory system. For more information please visit http://www.cat.com/D7E
